Laura McNaughton

Laura McNaughton is a managing director in the Chicago office of Kroll Securities, LLC and part of the Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory business unit. She has 24 years of middle market merger and acquisition experience. ​

Laura specializes in providing sell-side services to family and founder owned businesses and private equity owned companies. She has assisted in the sale of more than 100 middle market companies. Laura has experience working with companies in various end markets, including industrial manufacturing, distribution, engineering and construction, and building products. Laura is also a member of the Kroll Financial Sponsor Coverage Group.​

Laura’s engagement experience includes the sale of a full-service electrical distributor to Sonepar SAS. Laura also managed the sale of a ventilation and air treatment products company to Switzerland based Flakt Woods Group and the sale of a linenless table manufacturer to Saw Mill Capital. Prior to joining Kroll in 2000, Laura held positions at Vine Street Partners and Arthur Andersen.​

Laura received her MBA in Finance from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business and her BS in Finance from the University of Illinois. She is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered representative, holding the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. She is actively involved in the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and WAVE, Women’s Association of Venture and Equity.​

In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, teenage twins and her dog Blue. She is an avid runner and a terrible golfer.​
